About Me
Hello! My name is Rachel, I’m a 2D animator and Builds Artist! As an Algonquin College graduate, I am proficient in Toon Boom Harmony, Photoshop and Maya. I am an adaptable, dedicated learner and a (hopefully) fun person to be around!
Ok! Now for a quick rundown on me, are you ready?
✦︎ I love the great outdoors! From hiking, to stand-up paddle boarding, to cross-country skiing; give me an activity that allows me to move around and I will be happy as a bee.
✦︎ I did pottery on the wheel for 4 years and it is something I will mention as if I’ve done it my whole life.
✦︎ English is my passion. I can barely speak it but man do I like a good story.
✦︎ I am literally always down to listen to a new type of music, give me your favourite artist and trust, I will give them a listen and let you know what I think!

✦︎ Communicated clearly her availability, and conisitantly notified the correct person about any changes in her ability to meet a deadline early.
✦︎ Worked with supervisers and Producer to accomplish the achieved look that the creators wished to achieve.

Doot Doot Short Film

✦︎ Participated in an animator community event to complete a 20 second piece of animation based on a theme, in 7 days. Rachel worked closely with their team members to create a fun little piece of animation. Rachel learned so much in terms of managing time, hitting deadlines and having fun with a project.

✦︎ Rachel specialized in pet illustrations, however they have done pieces that contain clients’ original characters and/or loved ones.
